Beyond reality as a construction kit

Philosophy Café is a monthly event not only for philosophers but for anyone who likes to share his ideas and opinion in a discussion. Every second Sunday of the month we invite a guest who will share his thoughts on several philosophical issues.

Sunday November 9th  Koo van der Wal will share his thoughts about the natural philosophy in development. 

Koo van der Wal (1934) was Professor of philosophy at the University of Amsterdam and then at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He wrote among other things ‘Recht met reden’ (Right with reason) (2003), ‘Umkehrung der Welt’. Über den Verlust von Umwelt, Gemeinschaft und Sinn (2004) and ‚Wat is er met de ethiek gebeurd‘  (what's happened with the ethics)? (2008). in addition to his academic career, he was Chairman of the Dutch section of Amnesty International and President of the Foundation for Refugee students UAF.
