Case Candy is een Nederlandse opzwepende funk/rock-band die met hun onweerstaanbare groove en solide sound onmiddellijk de aandacht grijpt. Dit energieke viertal legt een nieuwe standaard voor hoe funk/rock vandaag live gespeeld moet worden. Een Case Candy-show vergeet je niet snel: origineel, aanstekelijk en dynamisch, met een dosis charme en eigenzinnigheid.

Case Candy was de afgelopen jaren te zien op toonaangevende festivals zoals Concert at Sea, de mainstages van Bevrijdingsfestival Apeldoorn en Wageningen, en op het Doornroosje-podium op Stadseiland Stek tijdens de Vierdaagsefeesten 2025. Hun nieuwe EP Meet Up At The Disco is inmiddels uit, gevierd met een releaseshow op 2 november 2025 in poppodium Merleyn (Nijmegen) en een landelijke tour in het voorjaar van 2026. Van festivalweides tot clubzalen en muziekcafés, elke plek verandert in een dampend dansfeest.

De kracht van Case Candy zit in hun feilloze gevoel voor samenspel. De band bewaakt niet alleen onderling de eenheid en vibe, maar betrekt ook het publiek actief in de performance. Het één beweegt niet zonder het ander. Muzikaal laat Case Candy zich inspireren door grootheden als Red Hot Chili Peppers, High Fade, Prince en Cory Wong, met als finishing touch de heldere, krachtige vocals van Tosca, die met haar zelfverzekerde performance soms subtiel doet denken aan de presence van Lady Gaga.

FAMKE maakt Nederlandstalige alternatieve poprock en voelt zich het muzikale liefdeskind van Thom Yorke en Billie Eilish. Met haar band wil ze de melancholie en eigenzinnigheid van Britse jaren 90-bands combineren met de poëtische kracht van de Nederlandse taal

Influenced by the 90/00’s rock/emo/alternative/shoegaze scene ALBATROZ blends the members musical influences into a dark, honest, gloomy rock’n’roll sound.

Automatic Dead Drive is a four-piece band that breathes new life into ‘90s grunge. Guitars grind like rocks in a wood chipper, while bass and drums hit like a firing tank. With a voice that sounds like a sander in a rose garden — harsh, yet unexpectedly beautiful. If you love flapping pant legs combined with beautiful and catchy melodies, this is your band!

BRIGANDAGE began as a twinkle in Michelle’s eye the moment she saw Johnny Rotten step onto stage at the 100 Club. Finally in 1981 Brigandage took shape to remind people of the glory, colour and inclusiveness of 1976! Due to a concatenation of events and timing within 9 months Brigandage was on the front cover of the N.M.E., doing a Peel session and supporting the likes of Sex Gang Children which in an incredible piece of luck and twist of fate Terry Macleay, founding member of Sex Gang Children, is now Brigandage bassist! Unfortunately like many bands Brigandage imploded before it could really start, so Michelle had to start all over again and went underground into the anarchist punk scene. A live at the Marquee cassette album F.Y.M. was released mid 80’s in true D.I.Y. style but time flies as they say and Brigandage were asked to play Rebellion, the famous punk rock festival in 2024. Suddenly Brigandage had risen once more like a punk rock phoenix, is gigging again and about to return to Europe after all these years to play with dear friends Rubber Gun, promoting their soon to be released new album “Half Moon Rising.

Forty years ago (back in the day, when everyone played in a band, right?), RUBBER GUN was formed. In a punk-infested, squatted little neighbourhood in the beautiful historic city of Zutphen, two residents kicked it off. The band’s fame stretched deep into Germany, where Rubber Gun had a loyal fan base. Top notch support.

The German punk label Teenage Rebel featured two of Rubber Gun’s songs on a collection album. A couple of years later, two fans financed the recordings of Rubber Gun’s first and only complete album of their own. ‘Grease Up!’ finally saw the light of day several years later and is now available on the ubiquitous Spotify.

In the early nineties, the band fell apart. Everyone went their own way. Some members continued to play, but only as a fun side project.

Egged on by friends in the London-based band Brigandage, Rubber Gun has now decided to return to their picks and sticks and take their old material back on stage. You can’t call it a midlife crisis, those days are already in the past. They’re just raring to give it another go!
