Baobab 4 Years 'Día de Muertos' with Los Paja Brava (LIVE)

Buenas Hermanos y Hermanas! It’s been 4 years since our first party in one of the most unique places in Wageningen, Villa Bloem (R.I.P). To celebrate this occasion we are inviting the cumbia-rock band Los Paja Brava(link is external) from Rotterdam. Last summer they played many big festivals such as Lowlands and Zwarte cross to name a few. You might also remember them from when they played at our world music stage during liberation day where they fully rocked the place out and again at Junushoff theatre during Popronde, giving us enough reason to bring them down again. Recently, they have been touring the country with their brand new concept “Dia de los Muertos” and will be bringing it to Wagga for a night to remember! Because it’s our 4th birthday we are gonna party extra long…untill…4! The party will be closed by the Baobab selectors! Tickets for the event will be online soon! (entry comes with a tequila shot “say what!?” ;)) More about LPB: Los Paja Brava was founded in Rotterdam and was inspired by the city’s fascinating melting pot and in-your-face attitude. Perfectly organized anarchic music home brewed by a “vrije uitloop” group of musicians with an eclectic background which goes from classical music to jazz, all united by their own genre, defined as “The Mighty Mighty Freakandela Distropica”. They’ve recently taken various stages by storm and have been winning over audiences around the Netherlands with an explosion of rhythm, energy and extremely good vibes.
